Terms of Service – Corsair Labs

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of mobile applications published by Corsair Labs ("we," "us," or "our"), including GuardIan Parental Controls, GuardIan Child, Jenga Master, and Pirates Checkers (collectively, the "Apps"). By downloading or using any of our Apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

      If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download or use our Apps. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Corsair Labs.
    

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase a subscription. The GuardIan Child app may be installed on a device used by a minor, but only under the authorization and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who has accepted these Terms.

2. Subscriptions and Billing

Subscription Fee: GuardIan Parental Controls is offered on a subscription basis at $2.99 per month.
Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew at the standard monthly rate.
Billing: All billing is processed through Google Play Billing. Your payment method on file with Google will be charged at the start of each billing cycle.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice delivered via in-app notification or email.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Apps only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

Use the GuardIan apps to monitor any person without their knowledge in a jurisdiction where such monitoring is illegal.
Use our Apps to harass, stalk, or harm any individual.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from any App.
Use our Apps to collect data on adults without their explicit, informed consent.
Circumvent or attempt to bypass any security or access-control feature of our Apps.
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit our Apps without our written consent.

The GuardIan monitoring features are intended exclusively for parents or legal guardians to monitor their minor children. Use on adult devices without consent may violate applicable privacy and wiretapping laws. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with local law.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, and intellectual property within our Apps are owned by or licensed to Corsair Labs. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Apps for personal, non-commercial purposes. No other rights are granted.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Monitoring features depend on the child device having an active internet connection and the app running in the foreground or background — we cannot guarantee data delivery in all circumstances.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Corsair Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of data, revenue, or profits.
Failure to detect harmful content or activity on a child's device.
Unauthorized access to your account.
Service interruptions or technical failures.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Apps shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Corsair Labs and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Apps, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to our Apps at our discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your license to use the Apps immediately ceases and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Apps after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
