Information We Collect

• Parent account profile and subscription status.
• Child profiles, pairing records, geofences, limits, alerts, commands, location history, and screen-time records synced from a paired child device.
• Emergency contact names and phone numbers selected by the parent or guardian for SOS and safety features.
• App reliability diagnostics and device/app information.

How We Use Information

• Deliver monitoring data to the linked parent account.
• Enforce child-device settings chosen by the parent or guardian.
• Send alerts, time-request responses, geofence notices, and siren/unpair commands.

Monitoring Transparency

GuardIan Parental Controls is intended only for parents or legal guardians managing a minor child's paired device. It is not a secret-surveillance app and must not be used to monitor adults or anyone without proper authorization.

Third-Party Services

GuardIan Parental Controls may use the following service providers depending on which features are enabled:

• Firebase Auth
• Firebase Firestore
• Firebase Cloud Messaging
• Firebase Crashlytics
• Google Sign-In
• Google Maps Platform
• Google Play Billing

Third-party services process information according to their own privacy policies. Corsair Labs does not sell, rent, or trade personal data.

Data Sharing

We share data only when needed to operate GuardIan Parental Controls, sync information with a paired child device, provide Firebase and Google infrastructure, process Google Play subscriptions, display maps, comply with law, prevent abuse, or respond to user support and deletion requests.

Data Retention And Deletion

Parent account, child profile, geofence, and app-limit records are kept while the account is active. Location and activity records may be kept on a rolling basis or until deleted by the parent. Account deletion removes associated account and monitoring records within a reasonable operational period.

You can request deletion by contacting labscorsair@gmail.com and including the app name, your account identifier if applicable, and the type of data you want deleted.

Children's Privacy

This app is intended for adults acting as parents or legal guardians. Child monitoring must be configured by an authorized parent or guardian.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the app's features, such as access controls, encrypted transport, platform security controls, and provider-level protections for cloud services.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy as GuardIan Parental Controls changes. When we do, we will update the effective date and publish the latest version on this page.
