Information We Collect

• Child device pairing identifier and command status.
• Location, route history, geofence events, SOS alerts, app usage, and installed-app inventory.
• Device model, OS version, notification status, and diagnostics.

How We Use Information

• Keep the paired parent account informed about location and screen-time activity.
• Enforce app limits and allow time-extension requests.
• Support SOS, siren, and unpair safety flows.

Monitoring Transparency

GuardIan Child is a visible parental-control companion app for a minor child's device. It does not hide or disguise itself, does not provide secret surveillance, and does not collect SMS content, call logs, contacts, microphone audio, camera content, screenshots, screen recordings, keystrokes, browser history, or private message content. Background location and activity monitoring are disclosed in the app before collection and are accompanied by a persistent notification while monitoring is active.

Third-Party Services

GuardIan Child may use the following service providers depending on which features are enabled:

• Firebase Auth
• Firebase Firestore
• Firebase Cloud Messaging
• Firebase Crashlytics

Third-party services process information according to their own privacy policies. Corsair Labs does not sell, rent, or trade personal data.

Data Sharing

We share data only with the paired parent or guardian account and service providers needed to operate GuardIan Child, deliver Firebase messaging and cloud records, comply with law, prevent abuse, or respond to support and deletion requests.

Data Retention And Deletion

Monitoring data is kept only for the active paired account and may be retained on a rolling basis. Parents can delete child records or close the account to remove associated data. GuardIan Child does not read SMS content, call logs, contacts, microphone audio, camera content, screenshots, screen recordings, keystrokes, browser history, or private message content.

You can request deletion by contacting labscorsair@gmail.com and including the app name, your account identifier if applicable, and the type of data you want deleted.

Children's Privacy

This app is installed on a child device only with parent or guardian authorization. It is not intended for unsupervised use by children, and it should not be installed or used to monitor adults.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the app's features, such as access controls, encrypted transport, platform security controls, and provider-level protections for cloud services.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy as GuardIan Child changes. When we do, we will update the effective date and publish the latest version on this page.
